Dr Justin Lewis
MBBS, FRACP
Dr Justin Lewis completed his MBBS in 2015. He undertook Basic Physician Training at Monash Health and subsequently completed specialty Rheumatology training across Western Health, The Royal Hobart Hospital, and St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. In addition, he has worked in both rural and metropolitan hospitals across Victoria, Queensland, and the Northern Territory.
Dr Lewis has experience across the range of rheumatological conditions. He sees patients with inflammatory arthritis, crystal arthropathies, vasculitis, myositis, and other musculoskeletal and autoimmune disorders.
He values holistic, patient-centred care in conjunction with sound clinical reasoning. He places strong emphasis on clear communication, empathy, and patient education, empowering individuals through shared decision-making and combining evidence-based medical treatment with practical lifestyle strategies. He also has an interest in the emerging role that technology and AI can play in improving the lives of his patients.
Outside of work, Dr Lewis enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle through swimming, diving and regular trips into nature.
